There are many makes of laminate floor,most being a wood design, some with a natural texture, and authentic look.

Unlike real wood, laminate has a much harder surface  which is less likely to mark under everyday day traffic. This is one of the advantages over real wood which is why it makes an excellent floor for many areas especially hallways, lounges etc. We do not recommend a standard laminate floor is fitted in bathrooms or any area where a high moisture content is possible.

Laminate is a misunderstood product, with views that all laminate floors wether a cheap DIY product or a high end product are basically the same, but generally you really do get what you pay for.
